Research Interests

My thesis focused on women's experiences in the practice of Bullerengue, a traditional musical genre of the Colombian Caribbean. Recently, I worked with social organizations in a project that used artistic mediations to build territorial peace in contexts of urban violence. I currently work as a UX researcher, exploring the ways in which anthropology can contribute to understanding and improving human-centered digital products and experiences.

Reflection on Mentorship Experience

The AAN Mentorship Program has been invaluable to me, and I am deeply grateful to my mentor for her guidance and the opportunity to learn from her experience in the field. The program has also allowed me to connect with colleagues from other parts of the world, broadening my perspective of applied anthropology and its diverse possibilities. In the future, I plan to continue exploring UX research and cultural analysis to find professional intersections between music, culture and technology.
