Biography

I am developing an expertise in user research, ethnography, filming for social research and as well as studying the relationship and impact of tech in all of the above. I hold an MSc Anthropology and Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as a certification in Ethnographic Research Methods from the COMITAS Institute for Anthropological Study in New York. To date, I have completed several projects for research agencies who focus on qualitative research for the tech and business sectors. With a background in international development, I am passionate and knowledgeable about the climate crisis and climate refugees, sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, food waste, smallholder farmers, indigenous knowledge and plastic pollution.

As a former journalist, I still retain the habit of consuming news, current events and trends in huge daily doses and as a result I am often an early adopter of digital communication trends. I am currently conducting fieldwork for a self-directed ethnographic study on the human workforce behind AI training in the United States. To date, I have completed international projects in Canada, the United States, England, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Russia, China, Japan, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, Colombia and Uganda.
